Arlyn Enterprises Ltd. Trading under the name “BOSS LUBRICANTS” (BOSS is the acronym for Bulk Oil Sales and Service), a manufacturer and supplier of PREMIUM engine and transmission lubricants, natural gas engine and compressor oils, greases, glycols and allied products, is committed to QUALITY OF PRODUCTS and OUTSTANDING SERVICE to Industrial and Commercial businesses throughout Canada and the North Western United States of America, at BETTER THAN competitive prices, quality products and services.

BOSS Lubricants (BOSS) a privately owned Alberta, Canadian business trades throughout Canada, and in the five northwestern States in the U.S.A. BOSS sells through our main office/plant in Calgary, Alberta, seven sales/warehouse branches – Toronto, Edmonton, Red Deer, Lethbridge, Saskatoon, Regina and Brandon among many other independent distributors in both Canada and the U.S.A. Our Branches are charged with the responsibility of managing our Distributors in their respective areas.

Murray J. Flegel founded Arlyn Enterprises Ltd. on October 1st, 1992 in Calgary, Alberta. Previously, He gained his lubrication expertise through 37 years experience, initially with Texaco Canada Ltd. then with Canadian Turbo Inc., moving from the ground floor to District Manager/Manager of Lubrication Division. W.K. (Bill) Dickson joined Murray as an equal partner in February of 1994. BOSS made a significant corporate move in 1996/97 purchasing a similar sized competitor and relocated the combined company into the new facilities to achieve a business plan focused on efficiencies and effectiveness. Our main facility is close to main trucking routes through Calgary and for its rail-side location. It contains a large tank farm complete with two “PULSE AIR” blending lubricant tanks, three “PULSE AIR” glycol blending tanks to blend all types of antifreeze and other coolants, a packaging line and drum reconditioning system, all contained indoors. A dedicated piping system eliminates product mix and “line flush”. The combined facility is also used for “terminalling” – movement of products on dedicated lines from tank-car to trucks, packaging for third parties and overnight storage of our trucking fleet. Our Regina Branch now includes a drum refurbishing and pallet construction facility, which handles all our companys drum and pallet requirements.

BOSS has a solid base of clientele, with stable employees and excellent purchasing powers. A majority of our clientele has stayed with us from their initial contact, accept modest price increases matching industry trends, and believe in the consistency and “better than” quality products, the technical service, and the outstanding “same day” delivery service. Our very experienced employees, who have been with us for a number of years, enjoy better than average salaries coupled with a very attractive benefit plan, including company sponsored RRSP.
