Keep on truckin’: Supporting the freight industry in B.C.’s Lower Mainland

New BOSS Lubricants branch location in Abbotsford keeps heavy-haul transportation on the move

CALGARY, Canada (Jan. 18, 2026)—Eighteen wheels. Billions upon billions in cargo.

Vancouver is Canada’s busiest port, with one of every three dollars in Canadian goods and commodities coming and going 24/7.

That naturally makes the trucking industry indispensable to British Columbia's Lower Mainland, accounting for about 8% of regional economic activity each year.

In August 2025, BOSS Lubricants threw open the doors to our new branch location in Abbotsford—BOSS’s second in greater Vancouver, where we also have a warehouse and office in Delta, and the 12th in our cross-Canada network.

“At BOSS Lubricants, we know that the trucking industry is the lifeblood of daily society. If you use it, wear it, eat it or drink it, chances are that a truck brought it to you,” says Jarrett Flegel, our President and Chief Operating Officer.

“Our new Abbotsford location will help us better serve trucking fleets based in the Lower Mainland, as well as the automotive sector and natural resource industries like logging and agriculture.”

BOSS’s new Abbotsford branch location, at #130 2138 Carpenter Street, includes 11,000 square feet of warehouse and storage space for products like our oils, transmission fluids and automotive gear lubes, which are purpose-built to withstand the heavy-duty demands of the trucking industry.

As an authorized Shell distributor, BOSS will also sell, service, and deliver all Shell-branded lubricants in the region.

BOSS has been the fastest growing lubricant manufacturer and wholesaler in Canada for the past three decades.

“Our value proposition has remained consistent since we first opened our doors in 1992—great service, quality products, competitive pricing and our ironclad BOSS warranty,” says Flegel.
